In loving memory of Edith (Edie) Purdy who sadly passed away on 13th July 2022
PURDY EDITH (EDIE) Died 13th July 2022. Loving wife of William, much loved mother of Emma and Robert and devoted grandmother of Freddie. Funeral Service will be held in Cloughfern Parish Church, Doagh Road, Newtownabbey on Tuesday 26th at 2.30pm and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 4pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Association, c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 11 Jennings Park, Newtownabbey, BT37 0NB. Will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. God saw you getting weary, a heart was not to be, he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me.” Love in death should make us see, what love in life should really be. A smile for all, a heart of gold, one of the best this world could hold. Never selfish, always kind, these are the memories you leave behind.

We have walked this life together my forever friend, laughing, crying, singing and dancing. We shared so many many memories that I will treasure forever. You were one in a million Edie and I will miss you every single day. I will take comfort in knowing that you are now at peace free from your pain and we will one day meet again.
