It just doesn't seem right that I am sat here trying to choose the perfect song for your funeral.
This time last year you were fit and well with no idea of what was to come.
I am so glad that we were together for your last few days and right up until the end.
Thank you for choosing to be my dad, I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

Well Alan what can I say, 5 and a half years together everyday working in all weathers we had some laughs a serious chats together. A very knowledgable and caring man who was always willing to go the extra mile mile for others. Will always treasure our time together big man.

You were the Dad I didn't realise I needed until it was too late. Thank you for all that you've done for me and my family. The girls miss you terribly and Robson will grow bigger knowing who you were.
You were quiet, but formidable and you're going to missed by a lot of people.

Well, it's almost 3wks since you left my side. Such a big hole has been left, that I could never imagine. I have never known of such heart break. You were my rock ,you are my rock, you will for ever be so. Sadly we never had many more birthdays together. I love you, I miss you and I so wish I could turn back time.
