On 7th May 2022, in hospital, of Ossett, aged 87 years, Roy, loving and devoted husband of Pat, much loved dad of Steve, Elaine and Deborah, a dear father in law of Anne, Michael and Barry, a proud and loved grandad, great grandad, a dear brother, brother in law and uncle.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Monday 27th June 2022 at 10.15am. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Roy may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of The Dogs Trust.
Dearest Connelly family, I send this message with love and heartfelt condolences. It is a while since you lost a loved one and I hope you have found peace. Your family gave me a place to be my self, a place to grieve and a place to feel safe when my world fell apart. You will never know how much you helped save my life. I am forever grateful

Roy taught me to fish and coached me in rugby when I was younger. He saved hundreds of dogs in the RSPCA kennels, I guess he will be with them now. God bless.
