In loving memory of Ian Leonard Rook who sadly passed away on 20th May 2022
Cancer is a disease that affects so many families across the world and unfortunately, it has recently affected my own. As many of you know, Ian recently passed away from cancer and left behind our two young boys. Ian spent the last six weeks of his life at Fair Havens Hospice in Southend, where the staff catered to our every need as a family. They were not only nurses and carers but also became confidants and even friends. Without the support of these kind people and the comfortable environment of the hospice, our experience with cancer would have been incredibly more difficult than it already was. Ian wanted to raise funds to help Fair Havens to continue to provide care for other patients and their families so we have set up this JustGiving page to allow others to donate if they wish. We would love to be able to offer the hospice a generous donation as a token of our gratitude.
