Dan and his team were so brilliant from the moment we first went to see them about the arrangements for our Dad’s funeral. The funeral itself went beautifully, largely thanks to their quiet care, experience and professionalism. I would highly recommend J Vernon Kendrick -  they made a difficult day run very smoothly from beginning to end.

Me and my sister were absolutely heartbroken when we lost our beloved Mum, Gwen. When we had to arrange her funeral we were obviously very emotional and upset.  Tony - the manager - was absolutely amazing.  He was caring and compassionate. We visited Mum each week in the chapel of rest, and each time Tony was so kind. Tony and his team were always welcoming, polite and professional. We wanted a horse and carriage, which Tony organised, we wanted ashes for a tattoo and some jewellery which again Tony organised.  At the funeral we asked Tony if he would attend and he did and everything went absolutely beautifully. Tony and his team took care of everything and we thank him with all our heart.  Tony has become like a friend to us.    Thank you Nicola and Karen

No complaints at all. Wouldn't use any other company. I have used them in the past for my Brother. Complete dignity from the moment they walked in the house to collect my lovely Husband to the last moments of his cremation. Amazing service. Beautiful Chapel of rest that we used the day before his cremation. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Kendricks from the bottom of my heart ❤

We have used j.vernon kendricks for all our families funerals, my brothers funeral wasn't gonna be with anyone else. My brother phil and I would like to thank all who helped and thank dan for his help and support through a very tough time for us. You were kind caring supportive and very professional.

At this very sad time for myself and my family, the staff were so very kind and obliging, nothing was too much trouble for them in order to make the day’s arrangements go as smoothly as possible. We all felt that we had been taken care of throughout the process and the worries and stress were taken off our shoulders, particularly on the actual day of the funeral, the respect shown for  my late husband and all family members was second to none.
We were all very pleased we had chosen Kendricks and Tony was just so kind from the first day we made contact.

Everyone we dealt with at J Vernon Kendrick was kind and respectful. Tony made everything feel straightforward. We were very happy with everything, the arrangements were made exactly as we had asked and we had the ashes back the next morning ready to travel home with. Both my family and my deceased husband were treated with respect and dignity. Beautiful service by Pastor Jill. Tony treated me as family and was very patient with me. Dave the driver was so kind holding my hand as I walked behind my husbands coffin. I cannot praise this business enough. Thank you all

When my dad passed away, we had no idea where to start. Everything was explained and guided so clearly, which made things much easier for us at such a difficult time.

The service was carried out beautifully, and the flowers were just right — simple, respectful, and very fitting for him. We’re very thankful for the care and thoughtfulness shown throughout the whole process.

Having never had the responsibility of arranging the funeral of a loved one before, not to mention the utter devastation that accompanies it. I have to say, JVK - specifically Tony - made the process as painless as possible. And, while I hope anyone reading this review never has to experience the pain of needing their services, should you do, I could not recommend them enough.

From the day Mom passed to picking up the ashes, we were handled with the utmost care and gentleness. They made sure we understood exactly what would happen when and guided us in what we needed to do; always with patience and respect.
They helped give Mom a send off worthy of a live well llived.
