We knew we wanted an independent funeral director for Mum/nans funeral and so we visited Isobel and immediately on being greeted we knew she was the one for us. Isobel is knowledgeable, warm and friendly and will go above and beyond to ensure the funeral You get is exactly what you wanted. She arranged everything with such professionalism, always kept us informed of everything we needed to know. After our funeral service we had such wonderful comments on the service our mum/nan had and how beautiful and special it was that her final goodbye was one so specifically tailored to her. Isobel,
Was thoughtful, caring and sensitive throughout the process including the somewhat tedious admin pieces.

Isobel  was recommended by a friend who had used her for a family members funeral and it’s not difficult to see why. From the minute Izzie came into my home she radiated warmth, care and empathy. When Dad passed away unexpectedly we were in complete shock and didn’t know where to start with his funeral arrangements. We really wanted to honour his amazing life and give all his family, friends and fellow soldiers the chance to say goodbye properly. From the beginning, Izzy was incredibly caring, thoughtful and respectful. She made us feel like Dad was being looked after every step of the way and that he was still very much a part of everything. Her kindness and attention to detail throughout gave us great comfort.

‘I’m still here if any of you need anything, I don’t just disappear now. Always here for you all.’
I would definitely recommend Izzy to anyone facing the hardest of times when a loved one passes away, we will always be grateful for the help she gave us to give Dad the farewell he deserved.
