Wakeley’s have arranged my sister’s funeral with the care and sensitivity one would expect on such a sad event. They have acted with sensitivity and been helpful in guiding me and my other sister in making all the arrangements that were necessary to give our sister the send off that she deserved.
I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone else who has to go through this difficult  but inevitable family event.

Was a perfect celebration of Life.
Funeral went well according to plan.  From start to finish the family were treated with utmost respect and dignity.
Everything was explained with care and the family supported throughout. Requests were not a problem and dealt with immediately and help was offered wherever and whenever necessary.
Nothing was too much trouble and all the plans made were carried out perfectly on the day.
Everyone attending the funeral said how wonderful it was.

Wakely's at Ilminster are wonderful. Leah and Kate....caring, sympathetic ,and at a very difficuilt time are utterly  professional.Once everything agreed you feel a weight taken off your shoulders as they do everything for you, and you know that come the day of the funeral , all will be well ! The support and kindness that David and I received at this very difficult time from Leah, Kate and staff was just amazing.The sudden passing of our Aunt was such a shock that we had no idea where to start! We drove up from Devon as soon as we could and on Auntie’s kitchen table was a form stating that she had been taken to Yeovil hospital under the care of the Coroner by A J Wakely. I telephoned them straight away and was greeted with the most kind and  reassuring voice telling me not to worry and if they could help in any way just to let them know and that is just what we did! How thankful we are!
From that moment on all the stress and worry was taken away. We have been gently guided along step by step with no pressure making sure that what was wished by our Aunt and us as her family was carried out. They sorted everything.The funeral service was even more beautiful than we could have hoped for and went so smoothly and with such dignity and respect due to the extreme professionalism and efficiency of Leah and her staff. We would highly recommend them. You and your loved one will be in the best hands as were we and our dear “Auntie.”
