What Families Say
AI SummaryMany families mention the attentiveness and kindness they experienced throughout the process, describing staff as caring and compassionate during arrangements and across the funeral day itself. Several note the regularity of communication and availability of their arrangements coordinator, who kept them informed and responded to changes or queries without making them feel rushed or that anything was too much trouble.
A number of reviews comment on the professionalism shown on the funeral day itself, with families appreciating how staff conducted proceedings with both efficiency and sensitivity, and how the practical details—from the condition of vehicles to the conduct of those present—reflected respect for their loved one.
Families also raise cost as a consideration, with some noting that the service offered represented fair value for money, while a small number mention specific concerns with aspects of the arrangements or with items that went missing or required correction.

A W Lymn did a marvellous job in a compassion and understanding manner, in particular Emma at their Ollerton office was kind and supportive in what was a stressful period with the unexpected death of my wife.

Where do I begin? We lost my mother a month ago, and she had expressed her wish to have her funeral run by Lymns at Ollerton. I met with Emma, the Funeral Director, and found her to be the most wonderful, caring, and empathetic lady who treated us with the utmost respect and kindness through such a difficult time. Nothing was too much for her, even down to arranging a visit to the Chapel of Rest at short notice In addition, on the day of the funeral my mother was brought to the service by Kirk, who was absolutely wonderful and treated us with such care and consideration We could not have hoped for better and our heartfelt thanks go not only to Lymns but to Emma, Kirk and the other funeral attendants.
