Barringtons Funeral Directors helped me through a really difficult time. Being the first funeral I've had to arrange Claire guided me with genuine sensitivity and advice. Thanks goes to Debbie and Beth who also stepped in to help. Probably one if the most emotional things to arrange was made so much easier with their guidance and advice. Thanks so much. My Brother Nicholas "Nicky" John Yates, what can I say as his sister I only ever wanted the very best for him in life and death and including his funeral. I know  I gave him my heart and soul each and everyday. I will miss him truly. I hope he is with our Mother and Father now at peace. 

His funeral was dealt with by Clare L. Woods, she was put into a very complicated family situation having the funeral booked by myself and then rebooked by his two children. This was hard to deal with by us all, but Clare supported us all the way to the end. Clare has still been helping us today, chatting to us and sorting things out. 
Clare Woods has a natural talent for her profession and should be treasured by the company she is employed by. Clare Woods is a compassionate, kind, caring person having lost two of her own family. I can only say a massive Thank you from us all for Clare Woods and Barringtons genuine family funeral. I would highly recommend Barringtons to anyone.

From my first telephone call to David Barrington the the funeral was handled with care tact and dignity.
suggestions were made without any force or pressure everything went smoothly despite not being able to meet in person until we were at the crematorium. They were working in most unusual circumstances due to the lockdown but carried out their work very well.

Very understanding and welcoming.
My aunty wanted a small none fussy funeral for my uncle which was his wishes too. They listened wasn't pushy and certainly provided us with a simple but beautiful funeral. Thank you

Claire Barrington guided us very professionally throughout the whole process. From our initial meeting sorting out all the paperwork, to explaining all the disbursements from a pre-paid funeral package from Avalon, through to the day itself making sure everything went smoothly at the crematorium. So impressed, that we are now going to buy a funeral package direct with Barringtons!

They can't do enough for you. They ensure everything is very personal.

Right from the start Claire and David were extremely and empathic. They gave me all the options without pushing any agenda; the final decisions were definitely mine, but I wouldn't have had some of the ideas without them.

Claire supported me throughout the day, guiding me when I needed it. David read twice for us when we couldn't do it at the last minute. They ensured everything ran smooth and too the family's wishes.

They continue to support me even now that the funeral is over and are help me with interment of the ashes.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

David, Claire and the rest of the staff delivered excellent service levels at each stage of the process. They took a lot of the pressure out of what is naturally a very stressful period. We would recommend them whole-heartedly to anybody.....
