Dear Sharon,

I wanted to send you a note to thank you for guiding me through this difficult and sad time in my life.

I am so pleased we used your firm as our funeral service, everything went as we planned and I know you looked after Charles until he left the earthly world for another better, happier place where we will be together eventually. You are probably aware that we had been married for 54 years which is no mean feat, we had good as well as bad times but overall we were happy and content. We travelled to so many countries and we had planned another cruise this year but alas this was not to be but I have wonderful memories to look upon.

Keith was professional to the end and we could not have done everything without his eye to detail and attention for which I thank him from the bottom of my heart. I am so pleased that you were able to view the service live, it was a lovely sunny day just as Charles would have wished, he did not like the cold. I shall recommend your firm to others without hesitation.

I consider Tuesday as a celebration of his life not a time to be sad. Obviously there will be times of sadness but also times of happiness.

I shall be visiting Edinburgh with my sister next week for a few days and will contact you upon my return.

I cannot fault the Borough Green branch of Stephen P Gay Funeral Directors. Every member of staff that we dealt with was professional, accommodating but most of all sympathetic. I would like to mention Sharon however whom arranged our funeral and made the whole process as pain free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble she went out of her way to ensure we got everything we wanted and that the day ran smoothly. We were kept informed and advised at all times. The service provided was outstanding and we are truly grateful.

The team at Stephen P Day have been absolutely first class during our whole journey of organising and carrying out Mum's funeral.  From the gentle advice they gave us before we had an actual need through to the respectful and discrete service the day Mum died and then organising all the details of the actual cremation Lisa and Sharon have been brilliant.  In a world of online anonymity, this is the one time when you really need a personal service and I would whole-heartedly recommend Stephen P Day.

Lisa in the Borough Green office was excellent. She helped us organise the funeral in less than 2 weeks, and the day was perfect. The Celebrant, Ian, also conducted a wonderful service. Mum would have been so happy with it.

Everything went so smoothly. We had no worries at all. The beautiful floral tribute from the coffin was even delivered to our church after the cremation.
A big ‘thank you’ to Kieth Viner who sang the prayer, ‘God be in my head’ so beautifully at the end of the service.

The whole team, but in particular Lisa and Sharon, made this difficult experience so much more bearable. They showed sensitivity, kindness, compassion and on many occasions went way over and above standard service to help and support our family through this. Everything was organised perfectly, exactly as we asked for and they helped us make great choices too and kept us informed every step. I really can't praise them enough, and it's important to add their prices were far lower than others I initially spoke to. I want to sincerely thank them for doing such an incredible job.

Such lovely staff, so kind and understanding.
Nothing was too much trouble. Even managed to prudence a limousine which I suddenly decided we needed just three hours before the funeral,!
So grateful for making a very difficult day bearable..

This is the 2nd time I've used a funeral director. Although the first time was satisfactory I can honestly say I would recommend Stephen Gay every time from now on. Not only were they far more cost effective the service was exemplary. We were kept informed of everything at all stages and any problems were dealt with promptly and effectively.
