Extremely happy with the service received from Stephen P Gay, right from the start with sorting all the arrangements, order of service, celebrant and to on the day. Telling us in a calm and considerate way of how things will proceed. It is such a hard and emotional process sorting a funeral for your loved one, but they put us at ease with all the help and support they gave. I just want to say thank you for everything you did for myself and my daughters at such a sad time.

The staff at  Stephen Gay was most helpful every step of the way guiding us through, they suggested  Sue Viner to be our celebrant , Sue took time to come and talk to my family and made sure that every step of the order of service was correct. Sue conducted our service with such empathy family and friends thought she must of known my husband Reg well. I would highly recommend any family Stephen P Gay Funeral Service to look after their loved ones as they do it with such care.

I would reccomend this funeral director for the way they explained everything I needed to know about a funeral.I was advised about the prices at every step of the way,they kept in touch on a regular basis to tell me what was happening and to make sure I was okay.On the day David was extremely sensitive and guided me through the whole process which allowed me to relax that everything would be fine.

David the gentleman who led the funeral on the day was amazing too, so polite explained exactly what would be happening from the moment we left home till the end of service

Both the staff at the Dartford office and the mourners from the funeral directors accompanying my Mum helped my brother and I enormously, both in the preparations for and on the day of the service.

I first heard of Stephen Gay in 1986, when my father passed away, I was young with a son of nearly 3 and a new born daughter of 6 weeks.
The first loss I had ever experienced of my family.
He was so approachable and we were both young! He made sure everything went to plan.
Now in August 2020 I called on him again and he conducted the funeral of my husband (Martin) Patrick Verillo on Monday 10th August. My husband passed too soon after a long courageous battle and again, Stephen P Gay funeral Directors were, caring, professional and understanding in every way.

I cannot praise Stephen P Gay highly enough for the professional way they handled the funeral arrangements for my late mother who died on May 21.   Arranging a funeral is never easy at the best of times but their sensitivity and attention to detail made the whole process straightforward and worry free.  I can recommend their services unequivocally.
