I cannot recommend Albany Funerals highly enough. Everything was approached with the family in mind and a truly personal service was given. Support, compassion, knowledge and efficiency were there every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. Without question they are amazing during a very stressful and difficult time in anyone's life. I recommend them without hesitation.

We were so kindly looked after during a very difficult time.  

Keris guided us with real compassion so that we were able to plan the small intimate funeral that my father wished for.

The entire Albany team helped us to create the most appropriate service and cremation.  

 We are now able to move forward with the fondest of memories.

Thank you so much to Albany for the care and attention shown by everyone for the funeral of my mum Bessie.
My family were impressed by the service and especially the celebrant Marc.
I was also able to bring Mums dog for a last farewell!

My sister didn't want a religious service and famliy didn't want to go to the Crem'.
After listening to what we said about sister being an out door nature loving girl, so Jo recomended a wonderful country lodge on the Downs with a lovely view of the Weald and down to the coast, we view this and loved it and knew that Jenni would have picked this herself. They have a book of Celebents to pick from, the one we selected spent time with us talking about Jenni, and on the Day talked as if she had known her personnaly. The Albany people that brought Jenni to the venue where descreate, respectful, and not over dressed for this nature setting (Very smart but not in tradution dress so they didn't stick out) From the First visit to meet Jo to the last day when they took her on her last journey this Very caring Company did a Briliant Job, and would be very happy to use again as would know loved one would be in the best hands in Kent, making one less thing to worry about at a differcuit time. Jo and the team at Albany funerals have been so caring and supportive in planning our mums funeral. Every detail was thought of and I have had so much lovely feedback from our family and mums friends on what a beautiful send off we gave mum. I can safely say that this was all down to Jo and her team for giving me all the details to put together such a beautiful last day for mum. Thank you so much xx

The whole team at Albany were amazing, in particular Jo and Jim at the Ashford office. From the very outset Jim was able to provide a full range of advice and helpful suggestions, many that we hadn’t considered. The company’s organisation was exceptional and although a sad occasion we had the most fantastic and memorable day for dad. Albany were able to put us in touch with a perfect celebrant and an amazing florist. All the paperwork and fees were settled on one account, leaving us nothing to be concerned about. 
On the day of the funeral, the funeral director, Matthew, and his team were so polite, courteous, thoughtful and kind. Dad was previously a Jaguar owner so to make his final trip in Jo’s hearse was the perfect occasion. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful the arrangements had been and we agreed this was a fitting farewell for our father. I can not recommend Albany enough. They made us feel so at ease with the whole process, nothing was too much trouble for them and although we had a traditional service and internment I know that they are open to a whole range of services to absolutely meet the needs of any grieving family. I thoroughly recommend this company to help out anyone who might need there services.

From the very first telephone call with Albany they were extremely helpful and so caring. They guided us and there were no unexpected costs.  We were given an initial estimate and this turned out to be the final cost.  They also gave us contacts for a celebrant and florist both of which were amazing.  I knew immediately that we had made the right choice. On the day of my Dad’s funeral Albany were so professional but their caring nature came through, ensuring that all attendees were ok. What makes Albany stand out from other companies …. aftercare …. they are always there with a friendly manner. Thank you so much to Jim, Jo and the whole Albany team.

Myself and two daughters wanted in particular a Celebration of my wife's life as we had 52years of Love and Happiness. I can say we achieved this and more, even I managed to tell 'My Love Story'.
The venue was perfect at St Augustine's Priory as was the setting in the room. Organisation was faultless as was the Eulogy and presentation by Katherine Luxford. Having high tea after in the Conservatory of the Manor House was a great idea with everyone smiling.

Albany Funerals exceeded all my expectations. I had a idea of what i would like for my late Wife, but it was Jo Williams who put every thing in place right down to very last detail ,advised on the Celebrant that would suit my thoughts best.
Every person that was involved in my Wife,s funeral was first class, and as for Jo she went far and above what one would expect.

Following the recent sudden loss of my Mum I was floundering on how to organise her funeral and I was so grateful for Jo Williamson at Albany for her caring guidance and advice from the first moment I contacted her. She understood immediately how much I was grieving, and gently led me through the choices and decisions that needed to be made with such sensitivity that it made the whole process less painful than I expected it to be. When it came to collecting her ashes, Jo kindly gave me a small fragranced candle to light and seeds to bury in her memory which I felt was such a considerate gesture and an extra thoughtful touch to ease my grief. I would highly recommend Albany for complete professionalism and sensitivity when choosing someone to help deal with the loss of a loved one.

A funeral is one of the hardest to deal with but on this occasion it was made simple by Albany we cannot thank them enough and would reccomend to anyone

I was recommended Albany funerals by the wonderful Helen at Kingsnorth church. 
At 25 and just losing my mother I really had no idea what I was doing and I had no idea what to expect. That was when i met Jo... to Jo this is much more than just a job this is her life - that she has dedicated to helping people at the worst possible time, losing a loved one. That is what sets Albany apart from the rest. Every other company i contacted in Ashford were lacking so much empathy. The discussion of money was probably the first thing that was brought up but then to be so black and white about things i just knew Albany was the place for me. The whole team are fantastic and just so professional but also so kind and sensitive. With Albany Funerals it is more than just a funeral they are planning with you, it is communication and support at a vulnerable time and that’s what you what isn’t it?
They also have such an amazing choice when it comes to detail i really did not know what the difference was between coffins or flowers but with the help of Jo and her team i managed to give my mum the perfect send off, one i know she would of been so happy with and that is all down to Albany Funerals. They really are just amazing at what they do. Pricing is also a massive point when it comes to a funeral and i personally didn’t have a massive budget... but Albany are so understanding and are helpful they managed to work it all out with me cost effectively but without scrimping or not being able to give mum what we wanted to. Jo gave me options and really did what she could to enable my family to have what we ALL wanted at a reasonable and brilliant price. It is not all about money to Albany Funerals another brilliant reason for anyone to go to them. I cannot speak more highly of any business anywhere else and to Jo and the Team - thank you so much. You will always have my gratitude and hopefully we will stay in contact for a tea or coffee once in a while! I wish i had the options of 10 stars!

This is my second time using Albany Funerals! They managed both my parents funerals.

From the first call to Jo, it was positive and honest. She goes the extra mile and takes care of all the details, everything from explaining about the cost and process, through to handling the legalities and practical matters such of viewings, in a kind and professional manner.

At the funerals, Mathew, the director, was perfect as were his team. The flowers were lovely and Albany arranged them so beautifully with the coffin in the car, they took care of us every step of the way, through to taking us and the flowers to the wake.

Working with Albany was like being with family, the office is comfortable and every member of staff I’ve met has had the same caring ethos. Albany was the team I needed to support me at two very sad times.

I highly recommend Albany Funerals.
