Richard Steel and Partners Ltd are a family-run Funeral Directors that have been serving Winchester and surrounding areas of Hampshire since 1860 and currently run by the fourth generation of the Steel family.

They are also members of highly acclaimed and respected international organisation Selected Independent Funeral Homes, where membership is by invitation only, which Richard Steel and Partners have exclusively represented in the Hampshire region for over 50 years.
As Head of the business, Iain Steel represents the family's fourth generation, having joined his father over 30 years ago and he actively engages with and is involved in supporting the local community and a number of notable Winchester charities. Iain, along with Co-Directors Mark & Alison Hixon lead a team of 40 highly trained, professionally qualified staff to continue the family tradition of providing the best service possible for the families that they are privileged to serve and support.
In addition to supporting families in preparation of a funeral, the team at Steels are available to support bereaved families after the service by offering dedicated and bespoke Bereavement counselling to any clients wishing to make use of this complimentary service. For many families this support is invaluable in helping them to deal with and manage their grief following the loss of a loved one.
