Tim from Matthews Independant Funeral Directors was fantastic throughout the whole process of planning and executing my mum’s funeral. From the first call nothing was too much or too small for him to deal with. You really did feel he was part of the family and cared deeply for our mum. He went over and above to help us achieve the send off that she would have wanted and often checked in with us just to see how we were doing. The service he provided was excellent and carried out with empathy and sensitivity. I cannot recommend him highly enough if you are sadly having to arrange a loved one’s funeral. He really did help to get us through this with kindness, and grace.

It was my dad who had passed away and we arranged the funeral for him.
Everything was perfect. These five stars are for everyone who was involved in the beautiful goodbye that he had. Full of music and mirth, love and laughter.
Thank you to everyone, it couldn't have gone better. Dad's funeral was testament to the reasons why a funeral service is vital. We all came together, we laughed together, we cried together and we supported each other. You don't get that with Direct Cremation.

The day went smoothly albeit a very different day , as service was nothing like any other . Tim was very understanding of all Marks wishes , everything was perfect apart from celebrant that kept saying his name wrong and going on a little bit more than Mark would have wanted .

Tim organised a family funeral for me. All the details were perfect. The celebrant and florist recommended were superb. The Order. of Service was produced professionally. The location and timing of the service were both to our liking. All the paperwork and administration was done professionally. I can thoroughly recommend the personal service Tim offered. He went above and beyond what I expected.

Tim Matthews is an incredible, kind and compassionate funeral Director who goes well above and beyond with every last detail. I am so pleased we chose him to look after Mum after her passing. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, and he helped us to navigate everything with such warmth and kindness. There are some people that do their jobs because they are exceptional at them, others because they feel passionate about a cause, Tim is both. He came so highly recommended and rightly so. The respect he showed to deliver absolutely everything and more was outstanding. His service is so personal to ensure that a final farewell to a loved one is delivered with same care to the ones grieving as we showed to the ones we have lost. The chapel of rest is also a beautiful and peaceful resting place.
