Set in the middle of greenery, Pleasington Crematorium in Blackburn was open in 1943 to serve the local community .

Apart from cremations, services provided at Pleasington Crematorium include the scattering of cremated remains, gardens of remembrance which can be used for quiet reflection by bereaved family and friends, a Book of Remembrance and a choice of memorials.

Pleasington Crematorium, including the Book of Remembrance is open on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm and on weekends from 12 noon to 4 pm.
