Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham opened in 1996, and is located just outside Amersham on the main A404 Amersham / High Wycombe road.

This Amersham crematorium is has two non-denominational chapels in operation. The Hampden Chapel has seating for 60 people, and another 24 chairs in the organ gallery as well as standing space. Slightly larger is the Milton Chapel which has enough space to accommodate 150 people comfortably. Both chapels have toilets, as well as vending facilities for hot and cold beverages. This Amersham crematorium is also equipped with a digital classical organ which is highly recommended when hymns are sung at either chapel.

For disabled guests, Chilterns Crematorium offers three parking spaces outside the Hampden Chapel and four spaces at the Milton Chapel. There is also dropped kerbs, ramps and level access to all the facilities, as well as unisex wheelchair-friendly toilets. Hearing/blind dogs are welcome in the chapels and grounds.

The Garden of Remembrance in this Amersham crematorium is made up of beautiful woodland. The ashes are usually scattered beneath the trees, where a number of flower beds and hanging baskets are planted bi-annually.
