The absolute right choice for us was Hathaways. Superb every step of the way. Horrible to say... but they'll be getting our business again. Hopefully not for a few years yet though.

Genuinely could not recommend Hathaway funeral directors enough. They have been so supportive, patient and empathetic from the first telephone call I made to them, right through to the actual funeral and after. They provide a service- however they do this with such understanding and compassion. 
They explain all options available and at no point did I feel pressured into purchasing anything I didn’t want. 
I always felt I could contact them at anytime, if I felt I had a question or I wanted to change something.

It takes a special person to be an undertaker and Rachel at Hathaways is that special person. She’s so kind and caring yet still so professional. Nothing is too much trouble for her. I can’t thank her enough for looking after my mum after her passing but also looking after us as a grieving family too. 
Also thank you to Dave and the other gentleman (sorry I didn’t get his name) who treated my mum with the dignity she deserved when they collected her and the compassion they showed me too. 
I would highly recommend Hathaways funeral directors to anyone in the sad circumstances of losing a loved one.

Nothing was too much trouble the staff were very kind , supportive and professional.
At a time when your world has come crashing down they were compassionate and friendly.

The service we received was above and beyond.
Both Tom, Rachel and all the team were so kind and caring throughout. Going the extra mile with their care and service making sure extra touches were added around our mum's love of gardening.

What can I say I had a very difficult situation due to my mother in law as me and my husband were separated they handled this with dignity and respect at all times. The staff are lovely and supportive and I went for a coffin with a football image on Tom found one that was perfect. I'm now in the process of sorting somthing out for me and when it's time to say goodbye to my parents they will be my o my choice. Even the funeral home is set out nice. I can not thank them enough for how I was helped from walking in the door and bursting into tears to the funeral day once again thank you from the bottom of my heart you made a bad arkward situation turn into an amazing lovy day.
