The compassion shown by all staff is excellent and they treat our departed loved ones with dignity and respect. I used Spencer and Peyton for my mother's funeral in 2015 and now in 2020 for my father's. Sadly the covid outbreak has severely affected how the funeral can be conducted but Katy and Daren have been so helpful in getting us through these hurdles.

If you want to be certain your wishes will be followed through with dignity, kindness and efficiency, use Spencer and Peyton. Definitely recommend this company.

We used Spencer and Peyton for my brothers funeral who were professional and compassionate and couldn't do enough to ensure the day ran smoothly

Scott was our contact during the process, who was absolutely excellent. From the minute we met him he showed us such compassion, made us feel so comfortable and did everything he could to ensure the arrangements went to plan.
Nothing was too much trouble for him and we really felt we were in safe hands.

Would highly recommend and we appreciated everything they did to ensure my brother was cared for and had a great send off.

The support we received from the team from our first meeting was excellent. Things were explained well and in ways we could understand. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As a result Paul’s funeral was everything we hoped. Supporting this independent funeral director was the right choice. Thank you to you all.

We could not have wished for nicer people to look after our Dad on his final journey. Everyone at Spencer & Peyton have been so compassionate and helpful and not once did we feel that their service was just there to make money. Not needing to choose a coffin really took the pressure off of us, and options that we didn't think about- like a lock of Dad's hair- were mentioned for us to consider. At every step I felt that Dad was treated with dignity and respect and well look after. His funeral was the nicest service I have ever been to (which is odd as it was the worst day of our lives!) I cannot recommend Spencer & Peyton more highly.

Sadly the second time in a year we’ve found ourselves needing the services of Spencer & Peyton and again the journey of saying the final goodbye’s too loved ones was made easier by Darren and his Team.  From the initial consultation where all the fees were explained and transparent, to the advice & information given to help with the process with never a ‘hard sell’ on any additional services - a very much ‘can do’  approach with a quiet professional in the background but available ‘on the day’ service 
The Celebrant - Jane Gant was fantastic and couldn’t be faulted for her compassion, empathy and delivery of the Service - A big thank from Julie & myself for delivering a beautiful service a on tough day.

Daren was the little angel that had answer the phone when I discover my husband was dead and I had to choose a funeral director. Scott was very considerate and kind when organising my late husband John's funeral. He made the process simple and straightforward and we were very pleased with the service at Basingstoke Crematorium and Nikki, the celebrant, was very caring and the service was so lovely and emotional.
