After a brave battle with illness, peacefully in hospital on May 4th, aged 90 years, Phil. The ever-loving husband of Mary. The much-loved dad of Lee, Tony, Julie and father-in-law to Judith, Karen and Phil. A treasured grandad and great-grandad. The beloved brother of Jimmy, Nancy and the late George, Sarah and Raymond. A dearly loved uncle, brother-in-law and friend of many. Family and friends please meet on Thursday May 19th for service in Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 11:30am, committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Easington Lane W.M.C. for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly accepted for the work of the church.
