George used to cut my hair whe I was a little boy 50 years ago. Lovely gent. So sorry to hear of his passing. Best regards the Sheehan family who lived in Ravenswood Ave some 40 hears ago.

Former Mayor of Medway, Councillor and affectionately known as the singing barber of Wainscott, passed away peacefully on 28th March 2022, aged 88 years.
Funeral service to take place at The English Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Frindsbury, on Wednesday 18th May 2022 at 10am followed by burial in Strood Cemetery.

Last time I saw Tom I was 8. That was in 1978. RIP Tom.

I knew Tom for many years and always loved his repartee. He gave so much to the local community and will always be remembered. My sincere condolences to family and friends.
