Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 25th aged 89 years, Ellen. The dearly loved wife of Alan. A much loved mam of Janis, Trevor and Alison. A loved mother-in-law, sister , sister-in-law and auntie. A devoted and caring gran to Sarah, Kate, Ian and Krista and a treasured great gran to Kieran, Robin, Ruby, Isobel, Lucas and Albie. Friends please meet on Friday May 6th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 1.00pm. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Lyons Cricket Club for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for the work of the Alzheimer’s Society. So sad to hear of Ellens passing. She and Alan was a lovely neighbour for almost 47yrs. Ellen was a lovely friend and kind lady who will be sadly missed.
