William Roberts Worsman (30 Jan 1924 - 27 Aug 2015)

What a wonderful man, whom I had the privallage of knowing and be part of the family. Will be thinking of you all tomorrow,

So sad he was a lovely man made me very welcome to the rigby family and I will never forget that he was such a caring person good night xxx

My first memory of bill was as a child when he and dot came to briefly live with us at Hurst St, he was great fun,coming down to 4 yrs child's level ,many trips out with my favorite aunt and uncle.They returned
my parents hospitality by having me and my friend bill Mitton every summer holidays at den Brook Ave, great times,bill unstinting giving us time after a days work.fond memories of him cracking his fingers before he carved the Sunday joint. He was marvelous being the only Yorkshire man in our family,he could get 24 slices out of a quarter of a pound of beef.Doris was his sole ambition,he enjoyed life and all around him.what a good man he was.we remember you and salute you.
