As you know, Chris died on Monday 28th of February 2022. I was with him in his final hours and held his hand until the end.
A ceremony concert and musical celebration of Chris’s life is being held on Tuesday, 5th of April 2022 at Taunton Minster (St Mary Magdalene’s church, Hammet Street, Taunton, TA1 1SQ) at 2.30pm.
Afterwards Chris’s family and I will attend a short, private committal service at the crematorium whilst you are invited to The Castle Hotel, Castle Green, Taunton, TA1 1NF between 3.30pm and 6.00pm (two minutes’ walk from the church).
To help The Castle Hotel’s planning, please confirm your attendance at the service and celebration as soon as possible using the RSVP on this page.

Dress: Chris would have preferred sombre attire for his service but please feel free to enjoy colour at his celebration
Flowers and donations
Chris enjoyed walking our dogs Cyd and Ginger in nearby Vivary Park and following the recent storms, a number of mature trees have fallen. Accordingly, I would prefer for flowers not to be sent for the funeral but instead donations given in his memory to enable replacement trees to be planted as a living legacy.
