In loving memory of John William Ward who sadly passed away on 5th March 2022.

Husband to Kathleen of 56 years - A true romantic, with your favourite place being at mam's side, cuddling on the sofa and holding hands.

Dad had 7 children and each one of us a part of you - Ian’s love of cars, Penny’s nose, Gales eye's, June’s ability to fill a room with energy, Yvonne’s kindness, Michelle’s passion for the family and my (Tammy’s) ability to rock a hat like you.

Grandad to 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren - You loved getting down on the floor to play with all of our mini me's. Heath is just like you in so many ways, his little mannerisms make me smile daily!! 'Na na nan na naaa' and I know you will continue to live through all of us.

We all missed precious time with you, trying to keep you safe from COVID. In your last days, the house was full again and you lit up with each one that came to be with you!

We will all miss your energy and love of life. You really did make every second count and we will be forever thankful we had you in our lives.

You were a hard working man, a true 'grafter', with a love of motor bikes, tea rooms and new adventures!
Life with you was never boring. Such a big character to lose from our family.

We love you dad x

Family flowers only please, but if desired donations can be made on the Just Giving section of this page to 'Nottinghamshire Hospice' or sent to C Terry Funeral Services, 244 Bulwell High Road, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8NU. A donation box will also be taken on the funeral.
