Neville Bensley 'Chief' of Stannards Stowmarket Ltd passed away in Ipswich Hospital on February 25th 2022. Much loved dad to Paul, Nick and Liz father-in-law to Helen and Marc, gramps to Catherine, Michael, Sarah, James and Gracie and great gramps to Charlotte. Funeral service at Our Lady's Roman Catholic Church, Stowmarket on Tuesday 22nd March 2022 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a private committal at West Suffolk Crematorium. Remembering Chief a true friend who is dearly missed who never judged me and was always there and helped me cope through a difficult time and also shared lots of good times and laughter. A true legend!

I have just read about Neville.My sincere condolences to all family members. When I left Needham Market in 1984 it was lovely that Neville and I kept in touch and met up in London. David Morgan,London. R.I.P.

We have only just heard of Neville’s passing. I Richard worked for Neville when I left school. I have some very happy memories and some very funny memories.
We both miss Neville’s very wry humour. He invited us twice to Spain with Anthony and enjoyed a very happy time. Neville this will be the end of an era. Please accept our deepest sympathy to his family and close friends. Richard and Judith Challis
