It's been a year since you passed away, Dad. A year that I've got older (definitely), a year that I've got wiser (debatable); but what isn't open to debate, is that it's been a year that we have all missed you!

Life carries on, wherever we are; we have our good days... and our bad, either as individuals or as a family, but regardless of our trials and tribulations, we all carry your spirit inside of us, each and every day, and will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

We all love you, so very much.

Dad,

Was a few minutes early when I sent the last message, got my timing messed up! I know it's the 10th!!
Unlike me to be early for anything...

Love you,

Dad,

You would've been 85 today. Hope you are enjoying the cups of tea, the "Old Holborn's" and resting your eyes, every now and then.

You're always in my thoughts and always in my heart. Love you and miss you, forever.

A wonderful man, very funny, genuine. A great uncle. I will always remember the 'goodie farm' - never did find out where it was !

Well Gramps what can I say? I guess you could say that I was your apprentice. You taught me so many key skills, like how to put up a shelf and how to do tiling. I will never forget the day that we spent together on Thursday, teaching me how to tile was a job that you wanted to teach me for so long and you certainly taught me well. Whenever I do a household job in the house now I will never forget what you said, "you're doing too many things at once, take your time, you've got all the time in the world".
You are so wise and knowing. All the wonderful stories that you shared with me, the boys and Lindy Lou were truly spectacular, each one of them telling a different tale.
Even though you are not here in the flesh I know that in spirit you will watch over me and guide me throughout my life. In each one of us is a part of you that will live on, you have made me the person that I am today. I am honored to be able to call you my Granddad.
I know that this is not the end, for it is just a "I'll see you later". My love for you is indescribable. Lots of love Hannah xxx

Please let the SUN shine 0n Saturday
it is one thing that is out of my control

It can rain after 1.00 pm

All the greats have left us by
gone to the light way up high
shall I see you in the clouds
or in a rainbow
or in a sunbeam

can you feel my love for you
the strength you gave me is so true
I will be strong and brave
as you always are Daddy my Hero

Somewhere down below or in the sky?

Denny was always great company with a wonderful sense of humour. His karaoke sessions at Suzanne and John's were a joy to behold. We will miss him very much. Our thoughts are with you all at this time.
