The day has come that we need to say our goodbyes. I, in particular, will miss your stable advice, your encouragement, your caring nature and of course your jokes! I have so much to thank you for over the years.

Who'd have thought it was possible to miss your "jokes" and even more so the look of cheeky joy you couldn't help but show just before you delivered the punchline as you chuckled to yourself. Thank you so much for the many years of loving and looking after mum and being a great "stepish" dad.
