David came to work with me at the Corps of Commissionaires when I was running the Hitchin office back in 1999 onwards. He not only became an integral part of an award winning office but in time a very dear friend who championed and cheered me on in my progress up the ladder to senior management. With his lovely wife Elaine they became great friends to my wife Michelle and our three boys as well. A talented enlightened and very funny man. Brave and inspirational to the end. Much loved, respected and admired in all his roles in life. Now no doubt busy organising everyone upstairs. Poor things! God bless and our sincere love to Elaine and all the family. xx

We knew David during his last few weeks whilst in Thorpe Hall Hospice. Condolences go to Elaine and to David's family. Paula, Phil, Jamie and Andrew Bowcock

For grandad, it shouldn't have been your time to go but you fought your battle with courage. We love and will never forget you. Thank you for holding on for as long as you could especially for nana. You truly are a man of honour.
