Peacefully, with family at his side, on January 6th aged 82 years, Alan. The dearly loved husband of Kathleen. The much-loved dad of Diane, the late Peter and a dear father-in-law. The treasured grandad of Stephanie and Sam. A dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend of many. Family and friends please meet for service on Thursday January 27th in Union Street Methodist Church, Hetton at 12:15pm, interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery. Please join the family afterwards in Hetton Big Club for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu kindly received for the work of the British Heart Foundation.
