I was sorry to learn of Alan’s passing, but I have so many fond memories of him. He was such a jolly man and always ready with the banter about football. I spent many a Christmas and family gathering with him and his lovely family and I know he will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Rest in peace Alan.

Remembering our good times as table tennis teammates and opponents in the Diss Table Tennis league. We had some good battles. One of the best defenders that I have played against.

Please know that we are mourning the passing of Alan with you. Uncle Alan (also my godfather) had many skills, including carpentry, table tennis, football and a great sense of humour. I especially remember him making me a wooden cello stand and his funny stories or well timed jokes at family gatherings. He will be missed by so many. May all the memories of Alan bring you solace.
With caring thoughts,
Maurice, Sue, Jessica and Michael. x
