My big bro was there from the start. I absolutely adored him. I can remember when we were quite young I'd follow him everywhere. We had so much fun growing up in Glasgow where we lived at the back of Celtic park then we moved to the brand new Drumchapel it was like moving to the country then. We couldn't afford cake everyday so mum only kept them in for visitors but Harry decided he was having a Viennese whirl one day oOOoo and when it was discovered there was he'll to pay mum line us all up and said she was gonna belt us till someone owned up so she started with Our Charlie cos Cec nDave we're too young but Harry dint own up so to save the others I said it was me but I didn't fall out with him even then I loved him. It wasn't long before we followed my antie Cissies to Nottingham where we lived in the old Meadows, Harry made some good friends and one lifelong friend Gordon Waterfall. I remember them going to the Slipper at Bridgford where he met Evelyn but he even took me and my friend Shirl their with him when he was courting . This is the funniest bit though him and Evelyn came on honeymoon with me and Paul and I can remember us all running into the sea at Anderby Creek with fully clothed it was the best honeymoon ever that I was happy to share with my beloved big bro. Will always love and miss you big bro but I've got so many happy memories to treasure forever xx

I've lost my soul mate, my best friend and rock of my life.

You battled for four years through harrowing problems that most would fall at the first, but you weren't going to leave us. You fought hard my scottish solider.

We know how much our love for each other got us through these difficult times.

My heart is broken, but I have hot the most precious memories that will never fade.

Oh my love, I will miss you, Evelyn xxxxx
