In loving memory of Brian Edward Gisby, who sadly passed away on the 5th of December 2021, aged 82 years.

Brian was born in Singlewell on 22nd September 1939, to Ted and Zena and five years later, they were blessed with his sister, Rita.

Brian married Linda on 9th March 1968, after two years of marriage they had their first son David and then nearly two years later blessed with their second son, Martin. As a family they spent many happy times together, enjoying holidays caravanning in the UK. Together they enjoyed bowling and made many new friends along the way.

Brian enjoyed life and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Donations for the "Alzheimer's Society" may be sent in memory of Brian by cheque made payable to the charity c/o Lewis Solomon Funeral Service, or on-line via this page.

I'm so sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences! Firstly, of Brian in 2021 and then sadly his wife Linda in 2023. Linda (nee Edwards) is my wife's 2nd Cousin once removed and I only recently discovered this information. I saw Linda was on Ancestry and tried to message her but was very saddened to see she had passed away. I only recently discovered after Xmas that her husband Brian had predeceased her. I'd love to provide lots of research on the Edwards family to Linda and Brian's sons, if they are interested, and wish to pick up on the family tree Linda had started. My deepest sympathy also at the loss of John Stanford, Brian's brother-in-law, also in 2021.
