In loving memory of Karon Wightman who sadly passed away on 15th November 2021.
It is with great sadness to share that Karon lost her battle with cancer on the 15th November. As a family, we have chosen to support the John Eastwood Hospice who provided care during her brave battle. We would kindly ask for donations to this charity instead of flowers.
We're immensely proud of Karon, not just because of the fight she put up (having seen this terrible disease off more than once) but also because of the woman she was. Anyone who knew Karon for any period of time will have had a mark left on them by this kind, caring, compassionate, straight talking and wonderful woman.
On the 3rd of April 2022 i'll be running the Manchester marathon. I’ll be running for my mum and her memory, however if i can raise some money in the process for cancer research uk , then maybe this fantastic charity might one day be able to come up with the means to avoid the pain and grief for another family.
