Roger will be very much missed at Club nights. Always active in his work and inspirational to all of us. Honoured to make a donation in his memory.

I have known Roger since he sat immediately behind me at QE Grammar school (1947) and have always kept in touch. He was an inspiration to me in my desire to master landscape photographer. and audio visual presentations I have 4 of his published books and he personally signed Dorset The Glorious County. He was an early riser as I usually
met him heading for home when I was just starting my morning photography. We always had a short chat Monday at the Camera Club.
I will miss him.

In memory of my very good friend and photography colleague. Roger and I have worked together on books and audio-visual programmes since 1967, travelling the length and breadth of Dorset, the UK and parts of Europe. Rog was always a good companion and through his timeless images will never be forgotten.

Roger was a true gent - such a lovely man who we feel honoured to have known. He supported East Dorset Heritage Trust at Allendale House for many years - we only ever had to pick up the phone and he would be there with all the photos we needed. He was a joy to work with and we will miss him dreadfully.

Roger was the one of the kindest men I have ever met, and not just my brother-in-law, but a very good friend too. Life won’t be the same without him.
