In loving memory of Leslie Edward Thorne a beloved husband, father ,grandfather and friend who closed his eyes for the last time on 3rd November 2021. At rest now and in peace after courageously fighting your hardest battle.
How do we sum up a lifetime of memories and happiness you gave to your family in a few short paragraphs. There are not enough words to express our true love and appreciation we all had for you.
We hope our love surrounded you and warmed you in the last days as we held you tight. Even during your hardest days you kept smiling and made those around you laugh at your brilliant sense of humour and funny faces you pulled.
Forever hopeful, humorous and gentle you touched everyone`s lives with warmth, care and love. You loved the comforts of home and being with your dog Dottie. You were an introvert, strong willed and stubborn man yet showered your family with love, security and wisdom.
You will always be remembered for your infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and wicked sense of humour.
Every time we think of you our hearts fill with pride and although we will all miss you Dad, you are always by our side.
Our unconditional love will continue for you Dad, you may be gone but never ever forgotten
