Joyce May Smith (23 Apr 1945 - 14 Oct 2021)

In loving memory of Joyce May Smith who sadly passed away on 14th October 2021

Up until a couple of months ago Joyce had been a healthy lady, but then Joyce developed some underlying health issues, that so sadly ended her time on this earth, thus making coming to terms with Joyce’s unexpected death even harder for the family to come to terms with.
Joyce passed peacefully at the Nottingham City Hospital on Thursday 14th October, with her loving husband by her side.
At 76 years of age, Joyce was taken from us sooner than we would have wished for a loved one, but a slightly shorter lifetime can also have been a happy and full filled one and I think it’s fair to say that Joyce always tried to make the most of her life and her family meant everything to her. Indeed 55 of those years were spent happily married to Brian.

We miss her terribly, Joyce’s devoted husband Brian and children Diane, Mark and Brett, along with Joyce’s siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren

The Funeral will be held on Thursday 4th November at 11.15am, at Mansfield Crematorium.
