In loving memory of Anthony Richard Vinton (Tony) who passed away peacefully at his home on October 5th 2021 following a courageous battle with Cancer.

He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by his wife Jenny, his sister Sandra, his children Deanna, Ricky and Darren, his grandchildren Isabella, Sonny, Arthur, Elsie and Rae and all of his family and friends.

Tony had a big heart, he was a loving, caring, friendly and happy person who always looked for the positives in a situation. He loved being a dad and grandad, proudly wearing his title of 'Pops' and using his artistic skills to teach them all the beauty of creativity.

Tony enjoyed lots of fun times with his wife Jenny, hunting for treasures (especially watches) around boot sales, sharing an ice-cream at the seaside, fun times with friends and eating out (Pie and Mash was a firm favourite). A keen fisherman, he was delighted to spend one of his final days with his son Ricky and Brother-in-law Ted catching a few bites in the sun.

Tony was loved by his family and his many friends, he was touched by all of the visitors and calls he received in the last few months, and we thank everybody for the kind messages of condolence.

If you would like to make a tribute to Tony, the family’s preference is for donations to be made to Little Havens Children’s Hospice (link above).

Tony, my big cousin. You were everything I wanted to be when I was a teenager growing up. A hard working, loving dad who was good looking too. I'll never forget your laugh and your voice but more importantly I'll never forget you for your kindness and being their in my own time of grief when I was younger. Thank you Tone, love you mate. xxx
