In loving memory of Pam Ann Vickery who sadly passed away on 30th September 2021. Pam has been unwell for some time culminating in attending hospital to receive blood transfusions. A scan to investigate the reasons for the low blood count showed cancerous nodules on her liver and lung. She remand in hospital for a biopsy of the liver. Unfortunately she developed a chest infection and pneumonia. She passed peacefully in the early hours, fortunately I was with her with her passing.
Pam has been said to have been a rebel in younger life by those her knew her at that time. After her children reached school age she started work briefly with National Westminster and a stockbroker firm. Her man work life then occurred with her career with the Woolwich Building Society which culminating in her managing a branch office. She later took demotion to job share and finally take early retirement due to her health. She has endured many problems with her health including the removal of a kidney and bladder. She allowed none of these problems to impact of the lives of her nearest and dearest.
Pam is well loved. Sadly many of her early circle of friends are no longer with us. Pam was always young at heart and has a strong circle of younger friends who all miss her dearly. Her life centred around her family and close friends and I thank you all for you love and support. We will all miss Pam whose personality and character impacted on so many peoples lives. Posted by her loving husband Lindsay.
