In loving memory of Hilda Forbes who sadly passed away on 26th July 2015
Hilda was a strong minded, compassionate woman and loving to all her family and friends she was a devoted mother to Laura , daughter to Dorothy and sister to her brother Graham. Hilda worked all her life in many different job roles but for the last several years she worked at the golden jubilee national hospital a job in which she enjoyed and was proud of her job and has many well loved friends and colleagues. Hilda cared for her own mother Dorothy for many years who suffers from a form of dementia similar to
Alzheimer's until she had to be placed into full time care. Hildas favourite thing was to go shopping with her daughter Laura even if that meant sore feet and lots of coffee breaks anyone who knows Hilda and Laura would know they 2 knew how to shop. Hilda and her daughter Laura had a bond that you will only see once in a lifetime and has left a massive void in Laura's life. Hilda would have done anything for anyone to help them out and was a great help to her daughter Laura and her husband John who she seen as her own son with their wedding in febuary a day she was proud of she loved the wedding dress shopping a memory that Laura will have forever and also with Laura and Johns new home she helped them decorate and helped them in any way she could Hilda was always laughing and loved funny stories she had plenty herself she will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her even if was only briefly she was unforgettable she was a true lady Ull be forever in our hearts Hilda.

Hilda was a fair and also a hard boss when things were going well at work hilda would sing and laugh &joke with all members of staff. but if things went wrong, and you were in the firing line, then boy did you know about it. I'm sure I talk on behalf of all staff in catering when I say that hilda was our mother hen. Nothing was ever a bother including time off. Hilda would go out of her way to see that you got what you wanted. On the other side of things, if you upset her or did a silly thing, insted of shouting at you Hilda would walk past you with the index finger waving saying watch it you, your coat is on a shaky peg. We will never forget Hilda
REST IN PEACE OUR DEAR BOSS AND FRIEND

From one mum to another, the bond between a mother and her children is like no other. You were Lauras rock in hard times, and there with open arms when needed. She is a credit to u, that was so obivious on her wedding day your face beamed with pride. Rest in peace Hilda with the angles. Xxx
