While my interactions with Jerry were few, each time he smiled easily, and had a gentle, engaging presence that helped me to understand why he is so dearly loved by my dear friends. Sending love and prayers for comfort at this time of such deep loss. May we all follow in Jerry's footsteps, and not walk alone. xoxo

We first met Jerry at hisBrother Daves house and found him to be a kind and gentle person. Jerry was easy to Talk to and always said hi to us whenever he would see us. It was a pleasure to have known Jerry and we know HE will be MISSED by his whole family, especially his brother Dave.

It has been more than difficult to find the words to say, so I'll try my best.

To my family, we all have had our special moments, time and memories with Uncle Jerry and all though he is no longer here with us, he will continue to give us strength. He has always been here for us, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, and always our cheerleader - how proud of us he has always been. Truly missed and always in our hearts.

Uncle Jerry has been here for me for more than half of my life. Always there at exactly the right moments. He knew the right words to say to turn my day around. His hugs, wow, his hugs were the best. So understanding and the best shoulder to cry on. He was the calm when life got stormy. So lucky to have him in my life for so many years, through my childhood, as a teenager, and into my young adult life - Uncle Jerry never forgot a special day. I love and miss him so much.

Always and forever. Love, health, happiness and healing to the many lives shared with my Uncle Jerry.

To Tina,Kate,Chip and Sam. Jerry was such a great bloke. We both started in the film game at about the same time, we just clicked . It was as if we had always known each other. He was such a great mate he would do anything for anyone . He was so genuine. We worked on so many films and had such great times away on location. We had many good times at the end of picture party's . Just before Jerry went to the states he came to a party at mine and gave my daughter all his loose change .We Stayed in touch when jerry went to live in the states and used to laugh at his strange Liverpool -American accent when ever he phoned. We would meet up for a few drinks when ever he came back for a visit and made it down to London . I'm so glad I made it down to see him at his 60th Birthday party and have a chat about old times . God be with you RIP Jerry

I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and memories. The world seems so hollow at the moment without my big brother around. Mornings are very strange. We shared many adventures Jay and it seems like only yesterday that we where growing up at the Club, running ,laughing ,fighting (never won one fight) stealing booze from the bar and drinking it ( 8 years old) throwing up together and wondering why people drink. Hiding from Eric when he was on the prowl and keeping the heck out of Robins sight. Nin ringing that bloody bell " Jerry, Chippa where are you? Dinner time " Mum getting dressed up to go dancing with Les, wonder what happened to all her cups and medals ? Yargo, Honey, Greta , all the pups. Walking to school and back again, rain or shine. Kicking the ball against the back wall for hours at a time. Laying in our bunk beds talking about what we would be when we grew up. Me in the top bunk , you on the bottom, I remember one night when we where in bed and the light was on, you being on the bottom bunk should have turned it out but you didnt. It hung on a cord from the ceiling close to my top bunk, you gave me a pair of scissors and said " Just cut it " . I did. I still would. Rest easy big brother and dont be playing to many tricks on the angels. Love you always.

To Chip, Kate, Tina and Sam my sincere condolences, Jerry or "Boswell" as he was known by most in the film industry was one of the finest men I've had the pleasure to be able to call a friend, and although in later years we've had no contact I have many fond memories of the many hours that we spent together and the laughs we had at work and in the pub away on location and when you kindly allowed me to stay at your flat to save me traveling all the way home, God bless you Jerry, RIP.

I remember growing up as if it was yesterday. Time has no barriers for brothers and sisters. When people remember my bro it will be for his total kindness,sense of fun and wicked humour. For me I will remember the boy I grew up with, the man who was totally devoted to all his family, who never judged anyone, just accepted a person for who they were and his pure honesty. He fought his illness with such bravery and on his very last day with us he even managed a smile. Whenever I think of you my beautiful brother it will always make me smile. I love you for ever. Gerry was are No1 in charge, he looked out for all the lads an always up for a laugh. My mem0ries of working together with him an all the guys at J D transport will be cherished forever, great days great times an a top bloke'' so glad I got to see you again RIP Gerry.

I carry so many memories with Jerry in my heart. Growing up he didn't do things by half and would just spoil me rotten! How I didn't turn into a brat I will never know! All Jerry wanted was to see me happy. He bought me my first Mountain Bike and I can remember how cool it was and I couldn't wait to show it off to my mates! He said he had is especially built for me and went to collect it from the shop the day of my Birthday, and it hadn't been made..... so he had words and it was soon sorted lol.

All the amazing summers I shared with him in the states, the places we visited. We also did a trip from Baltimore to Toronto, seeing all the massive landmarks along the way! Niagrafalls was just breath taking! Poor Jerry left me at the airport and did the drive all the way back to Baltimore alone! But that was the kind of man he was. the tears at the airport knowing I had to go home and we wouldn't see each other for another year was gut wrenching.

One of the most special l moments was Jerry meeting my son Archie. Jerrys health wasn't great at this point, but he didn't show it. He spoilt Archie, just like he did when I was a child. I mentioned to Jerry that Archie liked balloons... well you can only imagine jerry being Jerry how many balloons there was!! was like we where in a party shop! Archie warmed to Jerry and just kept wanting to get up on the bed and cuddle him!
Talking on the phone everyday or every other day... I miss our chats so much! I love you Jerry and these are just a couple of memories... I could talk about our memories for hours and hours xxxxxx
