In loving memory of John Barrett who sadly passed away on 6th September 2021.
John was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa. To his friends and family, he was known as a quiet and diligent man: someone who always took pleasure in the simplest things, and was happiest when spending time with those he loved.
For much of his life, John was a keen tennis player, and maintained his enthusiasm for sport until the very end. Even when he could no longer take part in a lot of physical activity, he still made sure to tend to his allotment and garden, and would do things for himself and others whenever he could.
Though we are all deeply saddened by his passing, we are incredibly grateful to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. His love, warmth and kindness are still felt by us all, and we will always cherish the happy memories and moments we shared.
