I came across this, by pure accident, maybe fate, I was so saddened to read this. John was an amazing guy, I knew him about 30 years ago. I worked with him and his team as a sparky on many of his sites and we had so many laughs, the belly laugh type. I have very fond memories of those days and still talk about them today. John was a special person for a period of my life, a mentor type father figure as I was a young lad walking new into adulthood. I had many an issue and John took me under his wing, gave me a path to deal with those issues, I always remember coming round, doing some weights and then onto the boxing training. He always let me now when I dropped my guard with a right hook.😆. Pam was always welcoming and I will never forget the fear of the Rottweiler at the gates! Such wonderful memories of my early years of adulthood. You go though life and a few people make an everlasting impression, John was one of those guys.
My thoughts go out to Pam and his whole family and I’m glad our lives entwined. RIP John sorry we never got to hook up later in life. I would have liked to have said thank you.
Shaun x

Dearest Uncle John, i will remember you so fondly, whenever i saw you it was always hello my angel before a big hug and a kiss followed by your big smile.
You will be missed greatly by us and all those who had the pleasure of knowing you and having you in their lives.
The tales that mum (Hester) has told me over the years of when you were both growing up have had me in tears of laughter and the last time we were altogether at her 80th was a day we will cherish and mum has those memories of you too.
You will never be forgotten and will always be loved by us all.
Rest in peace dear angel
Love Charlotte xxx
