Paul Gaskin, aged 76, of Bristol, England, passed away on June 10, 2021 at Southmead Hospital.
Paul was born near the end of World War II on January 21, 1945 to William and Florence Gaskin in Brixton, London. He moved to Whitten, near Twickenham as a child and went on to Hampton Grammar School where he graduated in 1963.
After graduation, Paul went to the University of Bristol where he achieved a BS degree in Chemistry and did post graduate studies, also at the University of Bristol.
Paul spent the majority of his working life as a Research Chemist, first at the University of Bristol and later at Long Ashton Research Station. He took retirement in 2003.
Whilst in retirement, Paul enjoyed volunteer work with Encountering the Father’s Love as well as spending time in his garden and time with his family.
Paul is survived by his wife, Michelle, daughters Emma (Andrew) and Sarah, granddaughter Isobel, and former wife and friend, Maureen.
A Celebration of Life service is taking place at Resound Church on July 8, 2021. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, numbers are limited and this service is by invite only.
Memorial donations can be made to Parkinsons UK or to Encountering the Father’s Love.

We were friends at primary school and HGS - Yha cycling holidays and army cadet adventures - made contact last by email in 2014! Paul was a dedicated chemist at HGS and it is good to know he carried this on at and after UNI. Every sympathy to all the family - a very kind person in every way.
