On Thursday 17th June 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children, Peter James, aged 72 years.
Darling husband of Pam, loving dad of James and Liz, Jonathan and Sarah, Katie and Michael, adored grandad of Isobel, Patrick, Chloe, Archie and Leo and a dear brother, brother in law, uncle and friend to many.
Born, bred and remained in his beloved Cornwall as he had wished.
A private funeral service will be held in line with current restrictions. Paul has known Peter for nearly 60 years and in those early days a friendship was formed which has lasted to this day. The funeral service was very moving and encapsulated the true essence of Peter as a true Cornishman and a loving family man. No doubt there were some tears whilst planning the funeral but he would have been very proud of the way the day went with many family, friends and colleagues attending. Peter did not deserve the last 7 years under the cloud of cancer, but did enjoy some good times, including the family holiday, which will lovingly be remembered by James, Jonathan and Katie. Luckily he was well looked after by his wonderful wife Pam and our thoughts are with her
