In loving memory of Chris Reading who sadly passed away on the 14th May 2021 after suddenly suffering an extreme stroke.
We would only like flowers from immediate family on the day of the funeral please so we have set this page up to raise money for Pinderfields Burns unit as it is something as a family we feel really passionate about.
In 2012 Chris was badly burnt at work and we were told he would only have 15 minutes to live. He was so strong and went against all odds surviving the accident with doctors calling him a miracle. Pinderfields were amazing and helped and supported him and his family through his time on life support in a coma and then through years of operations and reconstructive surgery.
We will never be able to repay Pinderfields for the extra 9 years that they gave us with him which meant he met 5 more of his 7 treasured grandchildren.
We would like to thank everyone for their love, kind words and support during this difficult time.
