Katharine "Kay" Janet Snow

1st May 1942 - 12th May 2021

In loving memory and celebration of the life of Katharine "Kay" Janet Snow, who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A wonderful wife, mother, grandma and friend. Kay touched many lives with her kindness, thoughtfulness and cheery smile, making many friends wherever she went.

She made the most of every day and lived life to the full, centred around her family in both the UK and Australia. She was passionate about her garden and could often be found pottering amongst the beautiful flower beds, and was well known for "Bloom of the Month" at the local W.I.

Kay was an active member of Bitterne United Reformed Church where she married Tony in 1962, her soul mate for over 60 years. She was also an active member of The W.I, various dancing groups, The Friendship Group, table tennis group and Cinema Club; there was never a dull moment!

Tony and his family would like to thank everyone for their overwhelming kindness and loving support at this sad time.

Please cherish her memory and generous spirit by sharing your own treasured memories with us here.

Dear Tony and family,
So sad to have received your letter in regards to the passing of Kay.
My overwhelming thoughts are of Kays smile and infectious laugh
But also the many games of Badminton we all played at Bitterne Leisure

Kay was an inspiration. I marvelled at her table tennis skills and ability despite two replacement knees. So I was unconcerned when 3 years ago I has to have my second knee replacement and was quickly back playing soon after the operation. A lovely lady and West End Seniors Table Tennis Club will miss her presence.
