It is with deep sadness to announce that Martin passed away at St Catherine’s Hospice on Sunday 18th April, aged 65 years.
Martin will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Due to the current Covid restrictions and the social distance measures in place we are unable to have a large attendance as we would have wished for.

I worked for Martin from 1989 - 2002 (pic I was 16 years old in my first job) and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and so sad that we lost touch. My sincere condolences to his family. Martin may you rest in eternal peace surrounded by angels xx

I’m sorry I can’t be there Jo. My mother in law is moving house & I need to help.
I will watch it & be thinking of you all.
The man the legend. He had such a way of making people he met feel special. He was so helpful on the slopes the day my 18 year old didn’t come home one night & my wife & I were worried sick.
I feel honoured to have had the privilege to meet him.
RIP Martin will miss that laugh xx

I can’t believe it. I have such fond memories of Martin .I can’t believe I only just found out. Dearest Martin. May you rest in everlasting peace ❤️ I’ll never forget the kindness you showed me not only since my tender age of 16, but when my daughter died in 2000. ILY
