Suddenly after a short illness passed away
In Rotherham District General Hospital
On the 29th March aged 95 years
Much loved Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great,Great Grandma.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Evelyn was the only daughter of Gilbert and Nora Draper. Evelyn had a much loved brother Albert who sadly passed away in 2011. Mum was married to Artemus (Art) for 65 years before he sadly passed away in 2011 Both loved each other very much and mum found it very hard after dad passed away
Evelyn had 3 children Jacqueline, Jennifer and Allen who stayed close for all of mum and dad's life taking mum and dad on holidays, and caring for them both in their later years. Mum lived with Jacqueline who took fantastic care of her for the last two years of her life with the help of Mandy (friend) where she was the matriarch and was held with high affection by all of the family. Evelyn had 7 Grand children Jane, Dawn, Paul, Emma, Christopher, Andrew, and Richard. 10 Great grandchildren Liam, Drew, Thomas, Ben, , Emily, Jessica, Georgia, fryia Anaya and Niall and 5 Great, Great Grand Children. Evelyn Worked at Steel Peach and Towzer during the war years driving a crane, after marring Art on March 16th 1946 she became a house wife and mother looking after the home at 40 Old Gate Lane Thrybergh. Mum had ill heath in her younger years but this never stopped her from carrying out her duties as a wife and mother and we always were well looked after. Mum and dad in their retirement moved to 8 staple green Thrybergh were they spent 25 happy years with good neighbours and friends and spent many happy holidays with their children. Mum and dad also enjoyed the Thursday visit in the company of their friend Lisa who helped around the house and kept them entertained with her many stories . Mum at the age of 86 went on a Mediterranean cruise with her daughter Jennifer which was one of mum's lifetime wishers. Mum loved parties and anniversaries making sure they were celebrated in style and was always planning the next celebration.
Mum carried on living at Staple Green well into her 90's before moving to 36 Park Lane Thrybergh to be cared for by her daughter Jacquline Where she was surrounded by he grand children great grand children and great great grand children. Evelyn was taken to Rotherham District General Hospital after falling ill were the doctors and nursing staff took exceptional care and respect for mum where she passed away peacefully in her sleep in the company of her son Allen and daughter in law Denise.
