In loving memory of Desmond Christopher 'Des' Ball who sadly passed away on 20th February 2021 aged 48. Des will be dearly missed by his father Desmond and mother Clare.

To conform to the law attendance at the venue is by invitation only.

We have been asked by the family of Des Ball to confirm that his funeral is a private celebration of his life, and in accordance with the current Covid-19 law, the 30 guests allowed to attend his funeral have been personally invited.

The family would like to thank the local community for all their lovely comments and wishes, the support that has been shown is incredibly heart-warming and greatly appreciated during this time. Des’s funeral procession will take place on Thursday 11th March passing along Cotmanhay Road at approximately 3.20pm before heading onto Granby Street and then into Bath Street. At the pedestrian zone of Bath Street the funeral director will exit the vehicle and page the hearse onto South Street before re-entering the vehicle at the Market Place. We kindly ask if you would like to pay tribute to Des, to do so in a socially distanced manner.

Please do not turn up at the crematorium as you will not be allowed inside. We understand this is not the ideal situation for those wishing to pay their respects.
