Richard we have been friends ever since we met in 1975 when I joined the Firm you were at.
The guys and You especially made me so welcome. I'll always be grateful for that.
You extended that friendship to my family soon after and we have enjoyed always the lovely and funny times we've had with You and Heather, Jaime and Martin.
We were always impressed with the way you could design and make things, as you did for us many times.
We will think of you always and remember your great sense of humour and fun.
Rest in peace
Dave and Lynne.

I was so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I count Richard among one of my dearest friends. I am truly heartbroken and will miss him. When he traveled to the States he and Heather would go out of their way and drive many hours just to visit us. God Speed Richard and may God have mercy on Heather and the family.

We are still shocked and saddened by the loss of a truly lovely man taken way too soon. I am so pleased that we got to see you more in recent years doing what you love doing. Such a calming demeanour with your softly spoken voice but great fun too; a real pleasure to be around. We are heartbroken for Heather, Jaime and Martin and join them in their sadness. I’m sure we all agree what a great privilege it is to have known and loved you. Special memories❤️xx

Dick,
This is one of the saddest times in our lives.
I've known You since we began Woodchurch primary school and into secondary school and remained friends. Have such great memories that will stay with me forever. You were so kind and patient, especially when teaching our boys to drive.
Great husband, dad and grandad and the very best friend, will never forget,
We love you, Malcolm, Sue, Terry and David, xxxx.
